This feels completely unreasonable,
      & so unlike me.

   I can't concentrate.
      I can't breathe.
         I can't think.

I'd rip down every building, terrace, & highway that ever stood between us.

              This is getting to be ridiculous.

  I would use every excuse in the book just to see your pretty face.

You frame my ambitions, & constitute my hopes,
  & in the same span,
   tear it all down to my knees.
[Impenetrable by even the slightest disappointments,
         Somehow I stay set on this high.]

I never know which direction you'll send me into next.


How silly.
   How radical.
      How...
               perfect.
